Korstnagrupp ERP: from Excel to a tool of their own

Korstnagrupp ran on Excel and several separate programs. When they saw the tools Erkky uses himself, they wanted something that would make their own work easier too. That's how their website led to an internal ERP.

How it started

It started with the website. Along the way, the Korstnagrupp team saw the tools Erkky works with and wanted something similar. Until then, their information lived in Excel and a handful of other programs.

Mapping the requirements

We mapped the system requirements from the client’s sample documents and day-to-day work.

The first version was built around how the work actually gets done. So the screens follow the way the team was already used to working.

In use today: clients and invoices

Clients and invoices went live first. They replace what used to be done in Excel. The system runs on WordPress, every user has a role, and any invoice can be turned into a PDF.

In development: quotes and Thea, an AI assistant

We’re now working on the quotes module, and with it comes a new addition: Thea, an AI assistant. A team member sends a voice message or types what the site needs, and Thea drafts a quote from it.

The draft doesn’t go anywhere on its own. A person reviews it, fixes what needs fixing and approves it. Thea handles the tedious part, and the decision stays with the team member.

Screens

Working with Erkky, you see very quickly that he doesn’t stop at building the website or the system. He thinks about how the whole company works.
