Development of Customer Portals and Information Systems
We develop customer portals and information systems that reduce manual work, automate workflows, and provide users with a clear self-service experience.
Is work being done in too many places at once?
The same data is entered in multiple places.
The information is stored in a single system, and each party can view the current status.
Orders and reservations are managed manually.
The workflow is digital—from creation to approval and follow-up.
The customer must contact us to perform some simple steps.
Self-service allows customers to perform routine tasks on their own.
Employees lack an overview of the status of their work.
Each role has its own view of ongoing activities and responsibilities.
The existing software is not compatible with the companyu0026#x27;s work processes.
The solution is built around your processes, not the other way around.
What kinds of solutions are we developing?
Customer and Partner Portals
Platforms where customers or partners can view information, manage documents, place orders, and track the status of their activities.
Reservation and Self-Service Solutions
Systems that allow customers to select a service or time slot, perform the necessary actions, and receive automatic confirmations or notifications.
Internal Information Systems
Tools for managing clients, tasks, documents, work phases, and other day-to-day information.
What difference does a well-designed system make?
Less manual labor
Repetitive tasks can be automated, so you donu0026#x27;t have to enter the same information multiple times.
A better overview of whatu0026#x27;s happening
Each user sees the information they need, their ongoing tasks, and the current status of their work.
A more convenient service for the customer
Customers can perform the necessary actions at a time that is convenient for them and can check the status of those actions themselves.
Example of work completed
ASÕP – Substitute Teacher Information System
ASÕP is a WordPress-based web application that connects schools and substitute teachers within a single system. Schools can create substitute teaching requests, track candidates, and confirm completed lessons; teachers can manage their profiles, availability, applications, and calendars.
The solution features separate views for schools, teachers, and service administrators, as well as integrations with the Merit, Brevo, Smart-ID/eID, and X-tee systems.
-
Problem Schools need to find a suitable substitute teacher quickly—for various dates, subjects, and conditions.
-
Solution Custom WordPress solution: each role has its own dashboard, menu, and workflow.
-
Result A comprehensive platform that replaces manual coordination with a digital workflow.
Customer Feedback
Working with Erkky has given me the firm conviction that no challenge will remain unsolved. With him, it’s not a question of “can it be done,” but “how can it be done.” He responds quickly, always thinks on his feet, and comes up with solutions I wouldn’t have thought of myself. What I value most is his ability to make complex IT topics simple and easy to understand. Even if the technical world is unfamiliar to you, you’re always left with the feeling that you understand what’s going on and why things are being done a certain way. In addition, Erkky is a reliable and calm partner you can count on, even when things get hectic or unexpectedly complicated.

When to Start with an MVP
The process is still taking shape
An MVP helps you truly test the workflow before a major build—without locking down the entire scope too early.
The need is clear, but it is growing
Start with the critical roles and activities. New modules, views, and integrations will be added after deployment.
When an MVP Isnu0026#x27;t the Right Choice
If everything needs to be ready from day one or the requirements are already firmly established, we define the full scope and phases of the solution before development begins—an MVP would offer no real advantage in this case.
How does the collaboration begin?
-
Weu0026#x27;re mapping out the current workflow
Letu0026#x27;s take a look at how the work is currently being done, who is involved, and where the most manual labor or confusion occurs.
-
Letu0026#x27;s finalize the first version
We distinguish between features that are truly necessary at the outset and those that can be added later.
-
We design and develop
Weu0026#x27;ll create the necessary views, user roles, workflows, and integrations. The solution can be tested as work progresses.
-
Weu0026#x27;ll continue after the announcement
Weu0026#x27;ll help you maintain, update, and adapt the solution to meet your new needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
The price depends on user roles, workflows, data volume, integrations, and the extent to which the solution needs to be completed in the first phase. After an initial consultation, we can propose a suitable approach and a preliminary price range.
No. It often makes sense to start with a smaller initial version that solves the most critical problem. Additional features can be added once the system is in use and the actual needs become clearer.
In most cases, yes, provided the program in question has an API or some other means of data exchange. Before beginning development, we check what data can be exchanged and what restrictions might apply to the connection.
Yes, but first we’ll conduct a technical assessment of the existing solution. Based on that, we can decide whether it makes more sense to further develop the current system, redesign part of it, or start from scratch with a new solution.
We take security into account right from the start when planning the solution’s architecture, user permissions, and data flow. Once the system is complete, it will also require regular maintenance, updates, backups, and monitoring.
We can continue with maintenance and further development. This may include technical support, bug fixes, adding new features, and improving existing workflows.
